Sporting Success

Hay SOTA students enjoyed competing against their peers from Small Schools and Hay Public School at the Athletics Carnival last Thursday. Our K-2 students enjoyed being involved in the Jellybean Cup, where the emphasis was on participation, having fun and developing new skills. Students achieved some great results in track and field events.

Age champions from the Small School contingent were Grace McLean (Junior Girl), Nicholas Sheen (Junior Boy), Ben Merrylees (11 Year Boy), Dimity McLean (Senior Girl) and Paddy Ryan (Senior Boy). These students will compete at the District Carnival to be held in Deniliquin on Friday and we wish them all the best.
